Oatmeal Magazine was a literary zine that I co-founded with Trisha Federis Remetir in 2011 and continued to illustrate, design, and edit with the collaboration of Tara Cuyos Marden and Ali Giordani until 2020. We published 13 issues of poetry, prose, and visual art by writers and artists who were mostly based in or near Oakland, California. We hosted a regular reading series called Breakfast for Dinner at local bookstores and in our homes. Here are some issues and flyers from the Oatmeal Vault.
